Barb Honchak
Barb Honchak (Born August 30, 1979) is a currently ranked #3 in the world at 125 lbs in the Woman's World MMA Rankings. Barb Honchak's record is 6-1 with her only loss coming from #1 ranked Cat Zingano by decision in January of 2010.
She known for her well-rounded skill set with an emphasis on her wrestling and grappling skills. Barb has a diligent and impressive striking game. Honchak is also revered for her strength, power and explosiveness in executing with her game with a reputation for entering her bouts with superior cardio and conditioning.
Barb trained primarily under UFC vet Steve Berger at Berger's MMA in St. Louis, Mo. She has recently started training at Pat Miletich's in Bettendorf, Iowa.
Her skills are evolving constantly with the team at Miketich's. She is making her return back into competition after more than a year when she last defeated highly regarded and ranked Roxanne Modefferi by submission in the Blackeye Promotion in January of 2011.
Barb was successful in her bout in Invicta with a referee stoppage in the second round due to strikes vs Bethany Marshall on July 8th of 2012.
She defeated Aisling Daly on October 6, 2012 in Invicta 3 by unanimous decision.
